Hi Mary, I have been using Mozbackup Beta for keeping my Thunderbird caged, so I don't lose my contacts, emails and profiles! The profile is the important thing to back up, it contains ALL your Thunderbird info.

Here is a link to the article from "MozillaZine]" where you can read before you do your back up, I recommend it !http://kb.mozillazine.org/MozBackup

The actual program you want is the Beta version 1.5.2 it is old but I use it on Windows 10 no problem, the link to the download is here: https://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Browser-Tweak/Mozilla-Backup.shtml
