Some time ago, wishing to change my Home Page I searched "set home page in firefox". Now, for no apparent reason, the search keeps appearing again as a new tab. I do not want to delete all search history. Is it possible to delete that specific history and how ?

Hi, Firefox is able to open multiple home pages with the URLs separated by a 'pipe' ( | ) and it seems likely that is what has happened in your case, so please see - How to set the home page, and click on Restore Defaults. Note that if you have previously set your own home page and you want to keep it, you can instead delete any part other than your chosen home page's URL.
