I cannot get any part of Thunderbird to work right. When Telus moved their mail to gmail, Thunderbird stopped receiving any of those email, even after the server was changed to smtp.gmail.com. Now the two other accounts that are tied to Thunderbird through my website also have stopped working, they will neither send nor receive email. I am lost. Can anyone help? Bob rgunn833@telus.net

Is your incoming server smtp.gmail.com? That's the outgoing server. Check that your settings are:

incoming IMAP server imap.gmail.com on port 993, SSL/TLS, OAuth2 authentication, User Name = email address; outgoing SMTP server smtp.gmail.com on 587 (465), STARTTLS (SSL/TLS), OAuth2 authentication, User Name = email address. Check that cookies are allowed in TB Options/Privacy & Security. Remove the passwords from Saved Passwords in Options, restart TB, and enter the account password in the OAuth browser window at the next connection to authorize access to the account.
