Can we control Firefox Home Page Button from Javascript or better way to control it ?

Hi,

We facing critical scenario of the our application. I tried to click on Firefox home page button after that i passing specific application URL from browser's search option. Then we navigate to dashboard page.

Can we destroy session or remove session data, when we click on homepage button of Firefox? Because we going to completely out of the application when we click on Firefox home page button. And session is still there. I not able to handle during on this process.

Please guide me or provide better way...
