I got a new computer last week, and I transferred over all of my information in Thunderbird to my new computer. Everything was fine for a few days, but now when I try to type an e-mail, it is so slow, like I type a letter, five seconds later it appears. Also, if I click on a message, it is very slow to open. I have read through some of the troubleshooting tips, like restarting with add-ons turned off, but that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.

Do you get any 'Not responding' notification in the title bar? What is your anti-virus software?

HI! I do not get any notification. I'm running Webroot. I have tried shutting it down and using thunderbird, but it didn't make a difference.

Try to start Windows 10 in safe mode with networking enabled.

Does the problem go away?
