I recently updated my Mac OS to Monterey. I'm trying to allow all subdomains of google.com to save cookies, but so far I'm having to add each subdomain. According to other articles, I should not need to, nor can I, add wild cards to google.com .

You need to remove existing Google cookies to make Firefox create new Google cookies and apply new exception rules to these cookies.
