My wife's email comes through my email account and quite often I receive her emails while she doesn't get them. Can I separate her account without losing her email address ?

I don't understand why her emails come to your account. However, assuming you want both on the same PC, you could create a duplicate account, except with different name and her email account. But it may help to understand why her email (e.g., jane@xxxx ) comes to the account of you (phil@xxxx).

If she sends from her account but through the smtp associated with your account, replies to her messages might be received in your account. This is possible with e.g. gmail accounts, but the general remedy is to make sure each account is sending through an smtp with a matching User Name:
