Search Bar (with default engine set to Google) suggests searches in local language. How do I change this?
I use the "search bar in toolbar" option of Firefox, and my default search engine for it is set to Google. I also have the "Provide search suggestions" option of Firefox checked. However, it appears the search suggestions presented to me on the Firefox "Google" search bar and the suggestions presented on www.google.com differ. I have set all my language and region settings to English in Google, and accordingly, typing in the search box in google.com lists suggestions in English. And yet the Firefox search bar keeps listing search suggestions in my local language (Turkish) first. I added two screenshots of the same query to depict the problem.
What do I need to make the search suggestions appear in English and not geolocation based?

Hi Esoppant, Search for something from the address bar in Google. When the results come up, go to Settings at the lower right. Select Languages on the left and choose English then select Save. (You might need to turn Off 'Search Customization' on the first page).
Open a new tab and try another search. If everything works be sure to keep your cookies for Google -

I hope this helps.
