The issue has been reported here: https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/firefox-ios/issues/12053

I have Firefox as my default browser on iOS. However, tapping “search web” from the context menu that appears when text is selected, opens Safari instead of a new tab in Firefox. The only workaround is to tap “look up” from the context menu and tap “search web” in Siri, breaking up what earlier required a single step into two steps.
