The network is not good here. Sometimes I have to retry for saveral times to open a link.

Now firefox doesn't record the link. It is hard for me to retry.

Can you change this? Let the new page always record the url even if opened failed(timeout).

Are these links that open in a new tab after left clicking on them?

If this is the case, the links probably have the target="_blank" attribute. The address bar will be empty when these links first open. If these links are middle clicked or ctrl-left clicked to open in a new tab instead, the address bar should show the URL.

Yes. Left clicking. In this case, the new tab also know the url even open failed. Why it doesn't record it? Is there setting option to change this behavior?

Thanks.

There's actually a bug filed for this issue:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1762987

I don't know if there is a solution except middle clicking or ctrl-left clicking the links...

I just installed an addon which let me drag to open the link. I'm satisfied with it.

Thanks.
