Good afternoon. For the last day or so my Firefox has been running slower than normal. It takes longer to load my home page than normal, for one example. Actually it takes a little longer than it had to load most web pages. I tried opening the same pages on Edge to make sure it is not just an internet issue and Edge works fine.

I am also having an issue with settings. When I open settings, privacy, and navigate to saved logins before when the list would automatically populate it now takes almost 12 seconds to load all my logins.

I did try to run the browser in troubleshoot mode and the behavior did not change.

I am running Firefox 118.0.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Does it still happen in a new profile? An easy way to test a new profile is to install Developer Edition and see if it happens there or refresh your existing profile.
