Thunderbird Filters: How to create a filter with more than one email address to be filtered. (ie what syntax to use to put multiple email addresses in the "text to be matched" field of the filter.)

I have a bunch of email addresses that send me various advertisements. I want to filter them all into a folder (redirect them upon arrival after spam checking.) I can get a single address to work in a single filter, but i want all 25 addressed to be acted upon the same way, but i really don't want to have to create and maintain individual filters.

I can 't find any reference to specific syntax to delimit/separate each of the email addresses in the single filter text-to-be-matched field.

Any ideas?

Put the 25 contacts in a new address book, then create a filter with the rule From + is in my address book + <select the new address book>. New contacts can be added to this address book by clicking the icon in the message header, then clicking it again to specify the new address book.
