i tried several times to use the right click. in the maemo browser if i hold the pointer longer, then the context menu appears. but i tried in firefox and i can't figure out how to do this simple thing...

There is no context/right click menu implemented in Firefox for Maemo 1.0.

In Firefox for Maemo 1.1 beta, you can press and hold to bring up the context menu.
