How to open page in same tab in which I have open previous one?
When I open page with command “firefox.exe http://www.mozilla.com/” and then “firefox.exe http://www.google.com/” pages will open in different tabs. Is it possible to open webpage (or html file) outside browser (from command line or shortcut), and then to open some other webpage(s) or files (using command-line or shortcut again) in same tab as the first one? On that system I use firefox 3.6.3 and WinXP. Thank You in advance for your support, Ivan Markovic

You can open a URL in a new tab or a new window, but not in an existing tab of an existing window: Command Line Options
Drag the links in a Firefox window. If the window isn't visible then drag the link on the Windows Taskbar Firefox icon and wait for the window to open. --- Your plugins list shows outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks.

Update the Java and Flash plugin to the latest version. See http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp#jdk (you need JRE) http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
I was just looking for the same feature, which i need for a fast development cycle: Edit - Save - Redisplay; without leaving the keyboard, grab the mouse ... As it seems, for development I hav eto change the browser.
I found an add on which perfectly solves the problem: Restore Open_External
