Anytime I try to view a site with Flash video, such as YouTube, Namoroka always says the Adobe plug-in needs updated. Even when I download and reinstall Flash, the site shows the same error message

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100405 Namoroka/3.6.3

OK Namoroka is not supported anymore. Go to getfirefox.com to get Firefox 3.6.6 free as always.

As for your question, try again to update Flash from http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer

Did you install a 64 bit version of Firefox? http://wiki.mozilla-x86-64.com/Firefox:Download

Yes, I am using the 64 bit version.

With a 64-bit Firefox version you need 64-bit versions of plugins.

See http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html - Flash Player on 64-bit operating systems

Fucking ridiculous! Was this app developed by apple?

...Okay, okay, I only jest because I find it equally ridiculous that I can't view flash movies on my iPhone. Anyway, just wasted ten minutes of my life trying to find developer contact information and it escapes me. These dudes clearly need to hire me to do some QA.

Thanks cor-el, I'll give that a shot later tonite (wife is currently glaring as I continue to type instead of getting ready to go out to dinner... definitely time to go!)

The problem with the flash player not installing on demand is because by default they are offering you the 32-bit version. You have to go to the Adobe site and download and install the 64-bit version.

I still haven't worked out how I can play videos in face book.
