Chosen solution

If you saved the Firefox installation directory (default location C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\ ) you will have lost your bookmarks.

Bookmarks and other user data are stored in the profile folder, on Windows XP this is normally found inside this folder - C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows login/user name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\

If you have saved the profile folder, you can use the process in the recovering important data from an old profile article to copy the files to your current profile folder.

Other things that need attention:

Your above posted system details show outdated plugin(s) with known security and stability risks that you should update.

  1. Java Plug-in 1.5.0_06 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper)
  2. Adobe Acrobat Plug-In Version 7.00 for Netscape

Update the Java plugin to the latest version.

Update the Adobe Reader plugin to the latest version.
