I am trying to set up a password so that whoever is trying to delete history in firefox will have to put in a password to be able to delete history. If that person does not know the password then they will not be able to delete history. Is this possible?

You could try the Public Fox add-on, it allows you to password protect certain parts of the browser. It is not perfect, a person with a good understanding of how Firefox works will be able to bypass it. https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/public-fox

The attached image shows the features it can protect.
