When using the 'find' option to locate text in a web page the word is, by default, highlighted in green. However this is difficult to see. How can I change the colour to red - or any other colour?

You can set that color via the String pref ui.textSelectBackgroundAttention on the about:config page.
That pref doesn't exist by default, so you need to create a new String pref via the right-click context menu and set the value to the preferred color (#rrggbb)
