I lost my HOME and REFRESH buttons and don't know why. Since I can't have them anymore please tell me in detail how I get rid of Mozilla Foxfire and let me know what all I'm going to lose in the process. Thanks, Neil
I have used Mozilla Firefox for almost a year and it was good. Now I make on stupid mistake by upgrading to the new version and I lose my Home button, Refresh button and I don't know how many other buttons. Since I can't have WHAT I USED TO HAVE please explain in detail how I rid of Mozilla Firefox and what I'm all going to lose in the process.

The home icon by default has moved to the right hand side of the navigation toolbar.
In Firefox 4 by default the Stop, Go and Reload (Refresh) buttons are combined and attached to the right hand edge of the location bar.
When you are typing in the location bar it will show the Go button. When a site is loading it shows the Stop button. At other times it shows the Reload button.
If you want separate buttons stop/go/reload buttons, or want to move the home button, right-click on a toolbar and choose Customize, you can then drag and drop the buttons and place them elsewhere. If you place them in the order "Reload-Stop" on the right hand edge of the location bar they will be combined again. Thank you, TonyE. Your answer was very helpful. However, I don't want to have buttons missing or combined or moved or changed in any way so I still have to get rid of Foxfire. Why does Foxfire do this? So, I still need to know how to get rid of Foxfire and what others complications I'm going to run into when deleting Foxfire. Please advise. Thanks ,Neil
My answer showed how to make them separate buttons, it only takes a few seconds to do this.

No point making the buttons separate. Firefox will come along with something else they say will improve Firefox and eliminate a whole bunch of other things. The only solution is "delete Firefox". My problem is I will lose a whack of functions (antivirus, anti malware, firewall etc) just like I did when I deleted Internet Explorer and installed Firefox. Is there a web page on Firefox that will alert me to the functions that could or would corrupt by deleting Firefox? Thanks, Neil
Isn't that what you're looking for? A separate refresh button from the all-purpose reload/stop button?

TonyE completly told you step by step instructions on how to get exactly what you wanted to have in firefox, as well as where the functions you're looking for are in this iteration, and how to bridge the gap between the two.
If you're just trolling for things that firefox has that other browsers don't, you'd best just check the firefox homepage, to see the current list of features, and comparing them to whatever web browser you're planning on using instead of this. Unlike IE, it's not going to give you any popups to scare you into "Wait, you'll be vulnerable to phishing scams" or anything like that. If you honestly have no clue why you would want to use firefox instead of another broswer, by all means use that other browser, it's not going to give you any better piece of mind.

I am a moderator of this forum and I expect that you will read and follow the guidelines.
Mainly for new readers - just for the record, fully "uninstalling" Internet Explorer is a near-impossible and unwise thing to do. Some of IE is intertwined with the Windows operating system.
If you decide to uninstall Firefox, it is a good idea to have another browser operating with your security programs working.
Moving a few buttons around and some basic customization is not difficult.

Right-click the navigation toolbar (not over the back or forward button), choose Customize, then drag the reload button from the right end of the address bar to wherever you want it, then drag the home button from right of the address bar to wherever you want it.
