I am on firefox 4. i've set the master password for remembering the passwords for many sites. After i upgraded the firefox 4, the password required popup window is appearing at regular interval, irrespective of i visit the webpage whos password is saved or not. the window is just appearing, even when Firefox is ideal.

Logik

PS: i gonna try 4.0.1 in a little while. lets see how it works out

Firefox has a hidden setting (pref security.password_lifetime) to reset the MP after 30 minutes.
You can try to increase that value to see if that helps. You may need to close and restart Firefox after making changes to that pref.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
