When the notice comes that there is an update available, I click on it. The update will not load. When I go to "about Firefox" and click to update, the material downloads. I then go to the download file and click open. After that I get graphic that indicates I should drag it to the application folder. I can't find a way to do that. When I recheck to see what version I have, it has not been updated./

Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

  • Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
  • Install the new version that you have downloaded
