I cant get the address bar (awsome bar) back at the top of the page with bookmarks tab etc. How do I get it there!

In the View menu select Toolbars, then click on the "Navigation Toolbar" entry to select it.

the problem is i don't have a tool bar either so i can't click on the view button...

If the menu bar is missing as well, this article will help restore it - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Menu+bar+is+missing

Also make sure that you are no in full screen mode, pressing F11 toggles full screen mode on/off.
