yea, that works but in firefox 4 i could just put the cursor at the top of the page and the bar would drop down to access the full screen button.

This is very big problem for FF 5. You have to solve this problem asap.

Moving the cursor to the top of the screen when you are in Full Screen mode still works, and then you need to right-click a blank area of one of the Toolbars (like to the right of the New Tab +) to see the contextual menu with Exit Full Screen Mode below Hide Toolbars.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

Thanks cor-el. This problem is due of Stratiform add on.

I'm having the same problem. I've also narrowed it down to an addon (Colorful Tab -- Ver. 4.8.1.6.2.4).

I've notified the developer of the addon.
