My Firefox screens (including FireFTP) are basic on this machine. Icons, boxes, images, etc are not loading. In FireFTP there are thick black lines everywhere. I have read all the Help stuff on the Net, but nothing seems to work.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.

Nothing anyone suggests seems to work. And I've now spent hours on trying to resolve this. Even though the computer is only a month old, I am now going to try it with a new graphics card --- PCI Express x16 rather than the current Intel CMA x4500. What a bore all this is!
