Bing has replaced Google on the Awsome bar, how do I get Google back and Bing gone?

more options

I had downloaded a music player that would work on my windows 2000 operating system, as windows media player would no longer function on windows 2000. Along with the music player, called VLC media player, came the Bing homepage and search bar. I do not wish to use Bing, as Firefox and Google are all I require. I think VLC is a Microsoft product, and that's where Bing came from. How do I get rid of Bing and regain Google on the Awsome bar? I was able to get rid of the Bing home page by downloading the new version of Firefox. But Bing moved its search bar up and to the right of the Firefox search bar, where the Google search bar should be. Oh what shall I do, and still play music on VLC? Thanks for the help!
