My foxfire only allows the first 4 seconds of any video to play and then the video stops. This happens on multiple sites.

For the last two weeks, whenever I try to open a video, the first 4 seconds plays and then the video stops and the loading circle appears. The video never plays further. I can restart the video and it stops in the same place. This happens for all videos and on multiple sites (youtube, accuweather.com, foxnews.com).

Make sure that your security software isn't blocking the videos.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
