Changing selected item color in the bookmark list items
Hi,
I usually use firefox with the bookmark window opened as side-bar. Clicking on a bookmark item firefox will open the url link as usual. The problem is that the link item selected from the bookmark list is using a foreground color, the selected item color, that is similar to a "transparent" color. Having a lot of bookmark items I'm not able to see the item selected between the unselected items. How can I fix this? Do I have to change the foreground color? if yes ho can I do this?
Thanks a lot, Roberto

I expect you are using a Theme, extension, or style to change colors, though it could also be that you are using different colors than normal in Windows 7 itself.
Use "Alt" to see the menu bar temporarily, if hidden then View -> Page Style -> Basic Style that would override a theme and if that works, choose another theme or use the default theme.
If you are using Stylish, try clicking on the stylish toolbar icon then choose "Turn all styles off". If that works find the style by disabling at "Manage Styles" until you find the one that causes a problem.
No, I'm not using any theme, just default settings as you get from the firefox default installation and from Windows7 default installation. No Stylish (I don't know what is it). I have View -> Page Style -> Basic Page Style option checked (I didn't used this option before).
You can see my technical details from the troubleshooting information I wrote before, but if you need more let mw know.
Any idea?
Thanks
Hi again,
I have an update about this issue.
If you click with right mouse button on an item in the bookmark (it will appear the property pop up menu but forget about it) the item will be selected with the blue foreground color as usual. At this point if you click, with left mouse button, in a opened web page, in a blank part, the selected item from the bookmarks window will loose the selection state and an almost-trasparent color will be used instead. I can see this almost-trasparent color by looking at it in an extreme side of the monitor. I think the firefox developers are using the default color from win32 (COLOR_*) for this behavior, right? I'm using the windows 7 basic theme but I don't see any setting about issue.
Any idea?
Thanks
