Many have asked and my search show that FF has NOT replied with how to kill (uninstall) "Coupons Browser Update". It annoying - how did FF ever let this SH*T get on FF in the first place. I have tracked down the authors website through their disclaimer and the darn thing just would go away or even stop.

Some posting have been up for a long time with no answer/reply. Just entering "Coupons Browser Update" should take one directly to a cure.

I beat it. This was kind of a broad shoot but here is what I did: Uninstalled and reinstalled FF. No result. Went to "Tools" ->"Addons" ->"Extensions". Uninstalled or removed if available as an option all the extensions. No more Coupon Browser Update. It was coming from one of the Extensions.

I suppose you could turn them on again one by one to see which one is doing it but I just carried on.

You have to kill it in two places. FF must be generating revenue from this.

Goto Add-ons

1) Click on the Plug Ins tab.

Disable both "Coupon Inc" addons. For some reason I had two.

2) Click on the Extensions tab

   Disable the "Start Now toolbar"

What a pain.
