About 2 days ago a Bookmarks side bar established itself on the left side of my browser page (msn) It is the search box with, "toolbar", Menu" and unsorted bookmarks under it. I can't get rid of it- how do I get it off??

Thanks - but I think the problem he has is the same one I have: For some unknown reason FF suddenly decided to open, on it's own, a bookmarks sidebar /every time/ I click on a link, opening a new page. Yes, command B will close it, but it's a PITA to do every time for every new window for the rest of my life. There's no pref or anything, apparently, to keep FF from it's sacred mission to open the bookmarks sidebar with every new window. If you know the secret handshake or gesture it would be much appreciated. Thanks very much in advance.
