I got an update notice on 1/31/12 suggesting I add Bing to my Firefox. I have always been happy with Firefox and recommend it to others frequently. I added Bing as suggested and now Firefox and Bing is NOT RESPONDING when I log on. Bing does not show up in my add/remove programs area. How do I get rid of Bing and get back my reliable service?

Thank You! That helped. I also had to select "options" under "TOOLS" tab and switch to DEFAULT BROWSER!

Remove the add-on within Firefox:

If Firefox will not open long enough (stops responding) before you can Uninstall the add-on, then you must run Firefox in "Safe Mode"
