Ff prevents page from reloading when trying to sign on my Vanguard.com acct.

more options

Before today no problem signing into my Vanguard.com acct before today. Now each time I enter my user name and password there in a header than says: "Firefox prevented this page from automatically reloading." If I click ALLOW it just erases the entered user name and password and I must try again. I'm stuck.

This hasn't happened before. I have turned off the cookie blocker for this website too.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.

1. Clear Firefox's Cache

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options > Advanced

On the Network mini-tab > Offline Storage : "Clear Now"

2. If needed, delete the site's cookies here

While viewing a page on the site, right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"

Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

To (temporarily) stop Firefox from warning you about and stopping pages from reloading themselves, you can turn off this option:

orange Firefox button or classic Tools menu > Options

under Advanced, click the little "General" tab

clear out (uncheck) the checkbox for "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Does that help?
