Firefox can't connect to the internet, but IE is working just fine. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I tried changing all the firewall settings, I tried disabling DNS prefetch and IPv6, none of it worked. If I try to go to any website Firefox immediately gives me this message: Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
   moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
   connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

please try generally disabling your firewall temporarily and see if that works in order to pinpoint the problem...

Try to remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Tried disabling the firewall, nothing happened. It's Windows Firewall, nothing special.

Removed the rules for Mozilla Firefox from my firewall, but I didn't see any rules for the updater or plugin-container. I opened Firefox again and tried to connect to a website, but the firewall didn't even ask me for permission.
