It seems that FFv.12 does not allow Scandinavian letters in the uploaded file names, but gets stuck while contacting the localhost?

I'm making a fileupload page and it seems that FFv.12 does not allow Scandinavian letters in the uploaded file names, since the browser gets stuck in trying to contact the localhost. Correct? This behavior differs from that of other browsers (IE, Chrome, Opera and Safari).

Are that Unicode characters in the file name or characters in the upper 0x80-0xFF range?

Hi! Thanks for your response. I solved the problem by myself. As a matter of fact, the question was about the file size between the jpeg files I tested for fileuploading. The much larger one of the files happened to have a name containing Scandinavian characters and - as I understand(?) - for some reason the file was (up)loaded/transfered more slowly to the temporary folder using FFv.12.0 than using other browsers. Unfortunately it was about my basic ignorance of the fact that the size of the uploaded image and of other files must be relatively small for the uploading being a positive experience for an average user of some site
