I upgraded to Android icecream sandwich a few days ago, and downloaded the latest version of Firefox. I was delighted to discover that Firefox supported flash, as I use a lot of flash. However, within a couple of days, the sound stopped. Firefox plays flash video perfectly, but it is silent. All other apps are running sound as they should. Can anyone help?

There is a separate volume for media. Click on the Flash element to focus it and press the volume rocker buttons.

This volume setting can be changed in the Android settings as well.

  • Open the Android Settings
  • Choose 'Sounds'
  • Tap on 'Volumes'
  • Change the 'Music, video, games & other media' volume slider.
