I installed the add on and it shows under the adds on but I can't view it and it keeps saying I have to paste the button to the panel. What button? I don't see anything different about my toolbar.

In the extensions Options dialog, there is a description of the steps to add the time to your toolbar or add-on bar. Hopefully this screen shot will work:
