to initiate JUNIPER VPN connection, I use firefox to connect and authenticate to the server. The client component of the VPN software tha tis installed on my PC needs to run JRE to complete its tasks.

once Firefox disables the latest version of available JRE, i am not able to connect. I also don't get the address bar indicator to enable JRE for my application.

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.

Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.

To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.

Flash and Adobe reader were updated but didn't help the connectivity problem. All other plugins are up to date.

Perhaps I need a way to tell Firefox that I accept the risk and enable JRE for all applications. Any suggestions?

IT staff upgraded Juniper client software and now I do get a prompt for enabling JRE for VPN software. Thanks everyone.
