When you minimize Firefox, try the following:

  1. Open the Task Manager
  2. View the Processes
  3. Look for the Firefox.exe process

If the Firefox.exe process is still running, Firefox did not close and is still running. This could be because it is setup to minimize to a system tray icon.

Please report back soon.

I'm sorry, I was out of town for a few days. Thanks for your help.

You are right, the firefox.exe is still running as per the Task Manager. How do I change the setup so that it doesn't minimize to the system tray icon?
