In other words, are my browser bookmarks stored at Firefox, and therefore will not be affected when IGoogle goes away on Nov 1? (I have saved no bookmarks at IGoogle, all are at Firefox)

Thank you

If you have your bookmarks in Firefox, then no, they are stored on your computer and have no connection with iGoogle at all.
