My husband was attempting to update itunes so that he could add music to his ipad. He had connected his ipad to our PC and tried to download some music. However, he was told he had to update itunes. When he proceeded to access the update, we lost our internet connection. I assume Firefox crashed. He was able to restore the connection, but it took quite a lot of effort. How could we have prevented the crash and how could we have restored it more quickly? itunes seems to play havoc with our PC every time we have to make an adjustment. Why is this?

  Thank you for your help.

Firefox isn't your internet connection, it sounds like something happened in itunes. You can go to apple.com/itunes and just download and re-install itunes, but this isn't a Firefox issue.

Do you know why we have such trouble with itunes updates? They always wreak havoc with our pc. We are running Windows 7.
