How to Paste Plain Text?
I'f I'm trying to paste something in Firefox, I need to clear up formatting. In other apps, command-shift-v works, although it is awkward. In Firefox, command-shift-v yields a blockable items pane.
No, I can't "Refresh Firefox" or even disable Adblock Plus. I have sensory issues and need accessibility fixes to use Firefox or browse the web.

You want to copy something outside Firefox, and paste it into the browser as just text, Yes? What is it you are trying to copy from?
This is probably a good site to be aware of http://www.accessfirefox.org/Firefox_Accessibility_Extensions.php It is a semi official mozilla community run site. IIRC the site and many of its addons were caught out by Australis. That is probably one site we should reach out to in advance if for instance making anything less distinct smaller, or lower contrast.
Maybe contact ABP for support if they can provide a solution about disabling or modifying this shortcut in their extension.
The help article shows Cmd+Shift+v on Mac: Keyboard shortcuts - Perform common Firefox tasks quickly (Windows and Linux users, open the Editing tools in the left column to switch to the Mac version of the article).
If Adblock Plus takes over that keyboard shortcut, do they also offer a way to change it?
When I check the source code, I see another option for Mac, which is the quadruple combination: Cmd+option+Shift+v
<handler event="keypress" key="v" command="cmd_pasteNoFormatting"
modifiers="accel,shift"/>
<handler event="keypress" key="v" command="cmd_pasteNoFormatting"
modifiers="accel,alt,shift"/>
Does that work for you?

Someone else already reported it here:

I would need to enable sticky keys for that one.

LibreOffice. No fancy formatting, but some weird spacing after copypaste.
Can you post an example of your copy?
This works in the browser only. Copy As Plain Text {web link} Removes formatting from copied text.
