When I start TB, it often times doesn't open the left pane. I have to close and re-open several times before the folders show up. I uninstalled and installed the latest update - no changes. See images. I have, Reinstalled it. Updated it Disabled all add-ons. Ran in safe mode

My Layout (AKA View) setting is: Classic, Folder, Message.

It takes 3 - 5 re-starts of TB to get the left to show up. When it doesn't show up, I can only create a message, nothing else.

You might want to delete foldertree.json from the profile folder: Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder, close TB, delete the file.

It looks like you are using Folder Pane Colors or some such addon. Does it happen if you have addons disabled?

If yes, which addon is causing the problem?

Yes. I have loaded TB with all add-ons disabled, Re-booted and re-loaded, same results. I tried it several days without any add-ons, and it is still loading sometimes, most-times not.

Thanks sfhowes this seems to have fixed the problem. I very much appreciate your help.
