On www.thetimes.co.uk and some other sites the page loading will stall with the blue bar 75% complete. A refresh does not fix the issue. I have recently uninstalled/reinstalled Firefox

In chrome the page will load completely and much faster

Hi Marc

I should be able to help with this.

If you open the Android Settings app, select Applications, find Firefox then clear the cache (do not clear data!). Restart your device and you should find that Firefox for Android will be running a bit smoother.

Failing that I recoemnd that your try Firefox Preview, our new browser also available from the Google Play store. It has been completely rebuilt and has a much smoother browseing experiance.

Thanks. I doubt the cache is the problem given that I have only just installed Firefox. The phone is automatically rebooted each week

I downloaded the preview version. It's much faster but doesnt support extensions. The ui/ux is a bit of mess. Getting to my desktop bookmarks is a bit of a faff
