I have 2 Thunderbird intallations and I want to keep the folder content synchronized, or at least export . The first option I thought of was export messages filters to import them in the other installation, so folders wil be filled in the same way. But ... I only see possibility of exporting the whole profile. (8Gb) In the profile I can't find files that are related to this issue. Is there anything for message filters, like the way you can ex/import mailadresses? And if not, how can I proceed best?

The filters are in msgFilterRules.dat files, and can be copied between accounts on the same or different profiles.

The kb article is incorrect

The files are not in ".local" on Linux .. but in .thunderbird

Thanx sfhowes & b24warbaby, The filename was helpfull, but after a (long) while I realized that this was de filterfile from my import fom the Eudora-filters, that I had imported with version 3.6, as it was the last version in which Eudora-mail could be imported! But the kb-comment did realize me, that I had to search elswhere to get the right one, the one made by myself in version 102. I don't use Linux, but in W10 the map I found it in, is the one named after my provider, so NOT in 'local'. So thanks again!!! Greetings, Thomas PS The filter import mentioned didn't even work in my version 3.6 anymore.
