could you please explain yourself better as your post makes no sense. where did you download firefox from? as you do not need to register it and there should be no popups to try to make you install loads of add-ons..

Deborah, It would have been helpful if you had posted here with Firefox, instead of IE; that way we would have seen the Firefox user agent. Based upon the cut off description you posted in the Topic field, your problem is likely caused by a modified user agent that the addons website doesn't understand. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page. Filter = general.useragent. Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset, Then restart Firefox
