Did installing Firefox 4 disable my Norton 360 security or just the ion on the toolbar?

When I installed Firefox 4.0 I noticed it said something about my Norton 360 Security. Then I noticed the Norton icons were missing from my bottom menu bar. How do I know if my Norton is unaltered and still working?

The core functions such as anti-virus and firewall will still work, it is the add-ons for Firefox that need to be updated to work with Firefox 4.

Norton have indicated they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US

So far latest Firefox (4.0) has been a disappointment. I had been using Norton 360 Security system "Secure Login Function" to enter websites that require login/password. I suddenly lost ability to use that function--whether within firefox or operating from Norton 360 login bank. Also, I have been getting messages "not a valid URL address" for web addresses that have worked perfectly well in past. I hope Mozilla can rectify this incompatibility. It's very frustrating

It gets worse. So far no notification of an "early" May fix from Norton and when I uninstalled Firefox 4 and went back to 3.617 I lost Firefox support for JavaScript. Despite another reinstall of 3.617, no JavaScript. Degrades features in Google as a result. JavaScript is enabled in Firefox, have reset Firefox in the firewall and I get JavaScript features in IE. Any solutions?
