HSToday on-line has an article with a video link in it. If I use Explorer I can see the video, but if I use my Firefox I cannot see the video. My Firefox screen simply shows black and white symbols, no video, no color. But with Explorer there is no problem in linking to and seeing the video linked to the article. Why?

You User Agent shows that you have MyWebSearch extension installed. This extension has been reported as causing various problems in Firefox. So Uninstall/Remove it.

  • Save all of this in a Word file
  • Close All Web Browsers
  • go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs -> check to see if you have any of the programs from "Web Products" installed and click "Remove":
    • My Search Bar,
    • MyWay Speed Bar,
    • My Web Search Bar,
    • Fun Web Products Easy Installer

-> Uninstall an Add-on

-> Troubleshooting Plugins

-> Open Firefox

  • Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter key
  • When you see a warning, click I'll be careful, I promise!
  • in the Filter bar type mywebsearch
    • right-click all preference entries related to mywebsearch and click Reset
  • in the Filter bar type keyword.enabled
    • right-click on keyword.enabled and click Reset

-> Close about:config tab -> Close Firefox -> Restart your System -> Restart Firefox

Check and tell if its working.
