whay does FF stop redirecting even when I say to allow
I don't pretend to know much about pc;s so my wording might be a little bit off but this is what happens..... On a number of website I visit a drop down message appears saying that:
' FireFox has prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page"
I don't know what 'redirecting to another page' means but even when I say 'allow' FF doesn't do it. For reasons to complicated to explain here, I find this very annoying.
Would appreciate assistance :-)
Ps: drop down menu below this box (This happened) should include the option 'often'

See:
- Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
