Remove Firefox Mobile Apps
I'm not sure why this is hard. I tried out some Firefox Mobile apps and now I want to remove them. Here's what I've tried:
I've gone to Menu > Tools > Apps. A screen displays my apps. Tapping one opens it. Long press SELECTS it (it gives me the option to cut, copy, search, or share the app's name). Long press does not give me the option to remove the app.
I've also tried clicking "Browse the Firefox Marketplace" button and going to the "My Apps" section. I tried this from mobile first and it directed me to make a new username and password. After doing so, it always returned an error "The server is under extreme load."
I successfully made a marketplace account from my desktop browser but the My Apps section shows "You have no apps"
So, how can I remove these apps that I'm done with?

Thanks, but I'm actually using Firefox Mobile on Android 4.4.2 KitKat, not Firefox OS.
I was finally able to remove each app apps by pressing and holding the icon in the app drawer then dragging it to the uninstall button.
Uninstall did not work from these locations:
- The home screen (long press gave option to remove icon but not uninstall)
- The "Your Apps" screen in Firefox (long press gave option to cut/copy app's name)
- The "My Apps" section of the Firefox marketplace (said "You have no apps")
- The app's screen in Firefox Marketplace (Showed a "Launch" button but no "Uninstall" button")
It appears that the only way to uninstall a Firefox app on Android is through the Android's app management. It would be much more intuitive if the apps could be uninstalled from Firefox Marketplace just like the Play Store, or from "Your Apps" in Firefox Mobile.

Hello @reij,
I'm guessing you are used to the interface of Android, however the Firefox OS's way of uninstalling is more like the iOS platfrom. Simply press and hold the app on your screen and a cross will appear. Clicking that cross will allow you to uninstall it
Here is a support article that can guide you more thoroughly: [to uninstall an application in Firefox OS]
I hope this helps

Same issue and same solution. By the way, the app (ConnaectA2) did not work at all :-(
However, after removing the Firefox Marketplace App, I am still receiving notifications for updating the app about twice a week. Very annoying!
Jørgen: Since the user describes the typical Android long-press behaviour, it seems obvious to me that he is talking about the Firefox browser on Android, not Firefox OS.
Actually, I must apologise for having called you "arrogant" in abother post, for disregarding this... It was so obvious to me that only re-reading it now do I see that he didn't even actually say so. Which of course makes it rather more understandable that you missed it. Again, I'm sorry for that.
