I want to play Zynga games on Zynga not Facebook why do I keep getting directed to log in to Facebook? . ex. When I sign in to Zynga to play Farmville 2 or other games ; I am taken to Facebook login page asking me to sign up or login. How can I stop this.

To play Zynga games you need an account and you can use your Facebook account or create a new one, so just click on the Join Now button at the top bar and select log in with a Facebook account or Start Fresh Now to create a new account.

This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies or cookies that are blocked.

  • check the permissions on the about:permissions page and in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
