Creating a message puts backup copies in _Bulk folder not drafts while typing
While creating a new message, copies of the message are placed in a Local folder at the rate of about 1 copy every 2 minutes as I type. Each copy is different because it is an image of what I had typed. This appeared about two upgrades ago but really bothered me today creating a long email. It must be some configuration file ... but how to find it.

From the Menu Bar select Tools-Account Settings-Copies & Folders See where you have Drafts and Templates set to be stored.
If you do not like the timing of the saves you can change that at: Tools-Options-Composition-General No Menu Bar with Tools? Press the alt key.

Thank you for the quick reply. I have checked the Tools-Account-Settings-Copies & Folders and the the Drafts & templates folder buttons are checked to place them in the respective Drafts and Templates folders of my email account. There is no place on any tool or account setting that indicates the _Bulk folder which is where select incoming emails are stored via Message Filters. Selecting a save-as and saving to the Template folder works OK. Selecting a save-as and saving to the Drafts folder results in putting the message in the _Bulk folder.
I decided to see if I saved a message what would happen. Well it went to the _Bulk folder not the drafts folder. Note that the little window that appears while TB is saving the message indicates that it is saving to the drafts folder.
The backup timing in Tools-Options-Composition-General was set at 5 minutes.
If there is a bug someplace that cannot be easily found how do I save emails in all my folders, accumulated history and tags, accumulated saved passwords, and the various address books ... then delete everything from TB and start over wit a complete new setup. I would redo the message filters from scratch.
Thank You ... Earl
